As manufacturing operations expanded and market demand increased, the business needed a centralised ERP to manage production, inventory, procurement, and distribution together.
The Business Challenge
Every department worked in isolation, so nobody had a complete picture of the business.
Five problems stood out:
- Inconsistent batch quality — quality checks were manual, so product standards varied between manufacturing batches.
- Inventory waste and inaccuracy — stock was tracked outside production, so recorded stock rarely matched physical stock.
- No production visibility — management could not see production schedules or stock levels in real time.
- Manual delays — orders, stock updates, purchasing, and invoicing were handled manually and entered more than once.
- Poor coordination — procurement, production, and distribution did not share data, causing material shortages and dispatch delays.

A fully integrated Odoo ERP was implemented and tailored to Saf Sudair's manufacturing and distribution operations. Seven modules share one database, so a production order, a stock movement, and a customer invoice all reference the same records.
